“When the campsite owners are dressed as wizards on their website, you know you’re in for a magical time. Venture past the giant dream catchers at this enchanting adult-only site near Wales’s oldest town and choose between a field or woodland pitch.”
– Siobhan Warwicker, The Daily Mail, 23 July 2016

“At this adults-only site in south-west Wales there’s a choice of where to pitch – in the open camping meadow or in the more secluded woods. Campfires add to the magic, as does a short walk to Mynydd Llangyndeyrn standing stones (credited with being the birthplace of Merlin). Wet-room style bathrooms are spacious and modern.”
– James Warner-Smith, The Guardian, 7 Jul 2015

“Invoke your inner hippy at quirky Crwbin campsite, Faerie Thyme. Among the stone circles, vintage caravan and pirate ship, lies an accommodating site. Tracing the leylines of wizard heritage, nearby Mynydd Llangyndeyrn is rumoured to be the birthplace of Merlin. A bit “far out, man”? Well it was also one of only two Welsh sites to receive a ‘member’s recommended best site’ award from the UK Camping and Caravanning Club. ”

“A beautiful and peaceful campsite. No pets or children are allowed, so tranquility is assured.
Pitches for tents, mobile homes and caravans, also classic caravans for rent. It’s a place you will always want to come back too.”

“What a great little find! Couldn’t ask for more from a campsite, from beautiful scenery to the wonderfully charming owners that were more then happy to help. Even taking our stuff up to were we wanted to pitch, which even had its own fire pit. Overall thank you for the amazing experience we will definitely be returning for another romantic get away!”

“We are planning to hold our wedding party accommodation at Faerie Thyme in May 2017. We hope to rent the entire site (including the 5 vintage caravans) for the weekend and use the aptly named party barn which has been hand built by Wish! The campsite is a homely and unique setting for the event and Irene & Wish are incredibly flexible and helpful. Looking forward to it!”

“My husband and I have recently stayed at Faerie Thyme and it truly is a magical place. Everything has been thought of to make it quiet and relaxing. The covered fire pits are wonderful and add an extra ‘room’ to your pitch. Each pitch is surrounded by trees and bushes to make them private but there is a big fire pit area for those who want to socialise. The wet room has the best shower ever too. Wish, Irene and Caz are very friendly, the honesty shop is great and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this campsite to anyone!”

“When we arrived Wish and Irene couldn’t have been more friendly. We had booked exclusive use of the site as a party of 30. It was a long drive for us, but worth every minute, the site was beautiful and the owners were on hand when needed but left us to enjoy our time there. The site is currently under further expansion, and we cannot wait to see how it develops, Faerie-Thyme is obviously well loved and has been Wish’s dream for a very long time, that dream is now a reality and we have no problem recommending this site to anyone looking for a peaceful tranquil laid back place to recharge their batteries. Practically, the site was well laid out, close enough to shops, but far enough away to remain ‘remote’. The shower was hot, and I am please to hear there will soon be a 2nd shower, though even in a group of 30 there wasn’t too much waiting around. covered areas were a God send as the weather wasn’t fantastic. Equipment was on hand to be borrowed, the pots pans and grills were fantastic for the fire pits and outdoor cooking, the seating areas were ample, and the fridge-freezers, a great idea. All in all the site catered for our every need. definitely a place to revisit time and time again. Thank you so very very much.”

“We stayed here for two nights in August in Katie the Caravan, it was amazing! We LOVED her! She was small and compact but they manage to fit a lot in and it’s so cosy! The firepit outside is amazing, we spent both evenings cooking over the fire and toasting marshmallows! It’s in the corner of the field so very private. The shower is the other end of the campsite but it’s not too far and is lovely and warm and powerful! Only one toilet on site but it wasn’t very busy so wasn’t a problem and I think they may be building more. The owners are lovely and will tell you great places to go nearby. the honesty shop is a great idea and we used it a lot for wood for the fire. Overall I would 100% recommend this place! It’s just so laid back, I was so happy there! Me and my boyfriend are planning our return!!!!”

“Had an amazing two nights stay in Katie the caravan. Had the best time, such a beautiful site. From the check in and with the Lovely Wish escorting our belongings to the caravan whilst explaining and showing all the sites amenities along the way. One shower, yet never had to wait. Our own firepit was amazing set aside the caravan which we cooked breakfast and dinner on along with marshmallows for dessert. Katie was cosy and vintage, had electric and a stereo for some subtle background music. Was a perfect setting for a lovely few days away. The site is 45mins from some beautiful spots such as, Tenby beaches and Rhossili. We will definitely return in the near future. Ideal place for couples to retreat. Thank you Irene and Wish.”
