Arrival & Departure Times

There are lots of jobs that we need to do in between departures and arrivals to ensure your holiday is the best we can achieve for you. These include tidying up the pitches, mowing grass and not least, cleaning and preparing the caravans ready for our next guests.
To this end, Please help us by sticking to the arrival and departure times: On arrival day, the camping pitches and caravans are available from 2pm. On departure day, please vacate all camping pitches by 12 mid day and 10am for caravans.

Consideration for Others – Individual Bookings

This is a peaceful, quiet campsite for the enjoyment of nature. We and your fellow guests would appreciate it if all amplified music such as radios, stereos are kept down so as not to disturb your neighbours and there is to be no noise after 11pm. Acoustic instruments can be played before then, such as guitars, harmonicas, flutes etc. Noisy visitors who persistently disturb other guests will be asked politely to leave, without refund (this has never needed to happen). If you are out for the night and arrive back late, please consider other guests.

Recycling & Rubbish

A condition of camping here is that you separate glass, cans, plastic, paper, cardboard etc. placing them in the special bins provided. What is left, ie. anything that is not recyclable can be placed in the black bin liners provided. Please do not leave behind broken camping equipment such as airbeds, tents or gazebos.

Recycling and Rubbish disposal – exclusive hire.  If your party does not comply with our recycling rules, your damages deposit is forfeit.

Bottles & Glass

No drinks glasses are allowed on the camping field. Plastic only please. We all like to wander around with bare feet. Glass is very dangerous. Beer and wine bottles can be disposed of in the recycling area. Broken glass must be reported to reception where you will be instructed on how to dispose of it. DO NOT put broken glass into the recycling bins.

Badgers & Foxes

It’s nice to know that you might get a glimpse of both of these creatures. At night you’ll probably hear them scurrying around for sure. The problem is that they are looking for an easy feast and may try to raid your food stocks and recycling. One or two simple precautions will help. Put your food in suitable, hard containers and your recycling in the bins provided. Don’t leave food scraps lying around and make sure your tent is zipped up at bedtime.
